Personality: This sign is contradicting and mysterious. These people are the type who like to venture but yet crave security. On the exterior they are calm and cool, but underneath that they are driving and forceful. Their sign animal is true, because sometimes they come out of their shell and fight or they can introvert to their shell and hide at the depths of the ocean. The reason why they have their shell is to protect their soft and easily hurt inside. They have a deep psyche and intuitive mind that is hidden from the world. Cancer's need to be needed because they are complex, fragile, unpredictable  and temperamental  When they receive support the offer a tremendous amount back. On the other hand when they are hurt, they tend to sulk and not confront the other person. Not only are they possesive about materials, but with people as well. This is because it's easier to keep the same friends rather than having to trust someone completely new. Cancer's tend to be great mothers because this is the sign of motherhood.
